We are a small, fast-paced team that builds large and small scale web applications. Whether it’s an application handling millions of requests per day or a background process managing massive datasets, the solutions you provide must be elegant, robust and scalable. You must also be comfortable working in an agile development environment.

PHP is obviously a requirement, but we also use Python, JavaScript, and Ruby so experience with those languages is a plus. We develop with Windows, Linux, Vim, Subversion and whatever else gets the job done.

To be considered for this position, please send samples of code you have written in PHP showing your strengths. This full-time position is located in Quezon City but remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advance skills in PHP, SOAP, XML, RPC, JavaScript, Ajax, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of Model-View-Controller (MVC) design principles
• Experience in using development frameworks such as Code Igniter, Symfony, Django (Python), or Ruby on Rails (Ruby)
• Knowledge in Python or Ruby a big plus
• Able to construct optimal SQL queries
• Can code in either Mac, Linux, or Windows environment
• Web design skill also a big plus
• Likes to solve complex problems
• Above average english skills both oral and written
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
